Neville Duke, aged 84, has only had a week off flying since he was first airbourne in 1940. Air travel today allows us to keep in close contact with friends and family.

A step by step guide

A step by step guide to releasing equity from your home
You could be enjoying the benefits of the Bridgewater Equity Release Home Reversion Plan within 12 weeks.

Step1

Meet with your financial adviser. If your adviser recommends a Bridgewater Home Reversion Plan he/she will provide you with a personalised illustration.

Step 2

Complete and return the Home Reversion Plan application along with the appropriate valuation fee.

Step 3

We will arrange for your home to be valued by a surveyor who is independent and a member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors to establish its market value. If you wish to select a specific valuer from our panel, please ask your financial adviser for more details. A copy of their valuation report will be sent to you/your financial adviser.

Step 4

Subject to a satisfactory valuation report we will provide you with a written offer. If you are happy to proceed, you then have 21 days to consult your solicitor and sign your acceptance.

Step 5

Your solicitor and our solicitor will complete the legal documentation (which will take approximately six weeks). It is a good idea to keep in touch with your solicitor to ensure everything is progressing.

Step 6

Your money will be released on the day of completion. For further cash releases, future payments will be made upon subsequent transfers of interest.

This is a Home Reversion Plan. To understand the features and risks, ask for a personalised illustration.
